The Transfusion Medicine Hemostasis Clinical Trial Network
is funded through the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute
(NHLBI), a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The Data Coordinating Center (DCC) plays a key role in developing
and facilitating study protocols and is responsible for statistical
planning and accumulation of quality data from participating clinical
centers. The DCC for the TMH CTN is New England Research Institutes,
Inc., www.neriscience.com
There are 17 Core
Clinical Centers (some of which are consortia of two or more centers)
with cooperative agreements from the NHLBI to participate in the CTN.
